Hosting your own community fundraising event or activity is a fun and rewarding way to support the work carried out by the researchers at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Your fundraising event or activity can be as simple or elaborate as you like. You are only limited by your imagination (and our guidelines of course).

We have a team of passionate and experienced people dedicated to helping you with your community fundraiser and ensuring that it is a huge success. Our aim is to engage local communities and motivated individuals in our mission to fund better diagnosis and treatment for some of our worst diseases. 

Community fundraising is an essential source of awareness and income to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation and it is also one of the most rewarding ways to get involved and show your support. We will provide you with the guidelines, the support and the expertise to ensure that your event is not only successful but also as simple as possible to organise.

Together we can make a difference.

Some great ideas to raise money for tqehresearch include:

• Casual days, raffles, golf days, dinner dances and garage sales
• Ask friends to make a donation in lieu of a gift for your special occassion

Some steps to hosting your fundraiser

1. Send a request through events@tqehresearch.com.au for a fundraising kit or download the Fundraising Application Form PDF by clicking here. Fill it out and return it to our office for consideration.
2. Read through the Community Fundraising Guidelines - click here for a PDF copy. This will help you plan essential aspects of your fundraiser such as timing, planning, record keeping and promotion.
3. Checkout the calendar of events by clicking here to find out what other people have done or doing.
4. Muster all your enthusiasm and help make a difference to finding better treatments for diseases!
