Become a volunteerSince 1965 volunteers have been supporting the work of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation. In fact, volunteers are crucial to helping The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation achieve its goals. Many hundreds of people have selflessly given their time freely in helping us raise much needed funds for research. Volunteers are the backbone of our organisation and without them, much of the work we do would not be possible.
Types of volunteering
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation offers a range of volunteering opportunities from supporting fundraising functions to traditional activities such as packing, donation processing and mailing preparation. We also welcome volunteers from varied professional backgrounds to perform specialised skilled roles within our organisation.
The benefits of volunteering
By becoming a volunteer, you will meet new people, learn new skills and help The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation support vital medical research - you will be making a difference. Volunteers add diversity and first-hand community knowledge to the skill set of The Queen Elizabeth Hospital Research Foundation and in return they have the opportunity to invest in and contribute to the community in which they live. All volunteers are provided with the skills necessary to carry out what are often very challenging and demanding roles.
